How can EUROCONTROL assist Airports?

EUROCONTROL

The EUROCONTROL Airport CDM Team will continue to actively support local Stakeholders at airports in successfully implementing Airport CDM. This will be achieved by continued development, harmonisation and dissemination of new methods and best practice to meet requirements and expectations of Airport Stakeholders.

The exchange of dynamic CDM information between the CFMU and the airport is realised by:

  • Facilitate Airports to exchange operational data with CFMU
  • Disseminate best practice and lessons learned
  • Standardised and harmonised implementation approach
  • Concise support material to execute local implementation
  • On site implementation support and facilitation
  • Raising awareness campaigns
  • Provision  of local / regional workshops
  • Participate at local working or steering group when requested
  • Deliver training packages (locally at airports and/or IANS)

EUROCONTROL will provide, on request, local training at the airport. The local training course is complimentary to the Airport CDM Training Course provided at IANS twice a year. The duration of the Airport CDM Training Course is 3 days.

Exceptionally, a one-day course deriving from the standard course could be provided. Another option will be to deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ packages to the different partners for them in turn to train their own staff accordingly.
